Life Story for Mrs. JoLene Bailey

Mrs. JoLene  Bailey
JoLene Bailey was born on September 15, 1958 to the parents Lydia Roberson Guidry and Joseph Raoul Guidry in Lafayette, Louisiana. Growing up Jolene was always a protector and enjoyed caring for others. At an early age JoLene accepted and confirmed her responsibility of her faith through her confirmation at Our Mother Mercy Catholic Church in Houston, TX.

Jolene received her formal education in the Houston Independent School District and was a proud graduate of Phyllis Wheatley High School class of 1977.

JoLene met the love of her life, Richard Earl Bailey Sr they were united in marriage for 15 years and this union was blessed with four children.

She held various jobs through the years, her final place of employment was Jaimel Health Care Services as a Healthcare Provider. In her spare time Jolene loved spending time with her family and her grandkids.
Jolene is preceded in death by her parents, both paternal and maternal grandparents, her husband, her son Richard Bailey II, sister Lydia Guidry, special cousin Charlotte Charles, brother in law Sean Smith and a niece MyKia Tyler.

On January 11, 2018 Jolene transitioned from this earthly life into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her memories: 2 daughter & 2 sons, Tamika Guidry, August Bailey, Lynn Bailey (Jacqueline) and Lydia Bailey; 1 sister Antoinette Smith (Sean), 2 Brothers, Gary Guidry and Paul Colbert (Carolyn); 13 grandchildren Anthony Gordon, Dzarious Bailey, Dequan Edgely, Richard Bailey III, Omarion Bailey, August Bailey jr., Xavien Bailey-Lynch, Lyndon Bailey, Legend Bailey-Lynch, Ar’marion Bailey, Richard Bailey IV, Rihanna Bailey & Mia Bailey; 3 uncles & 2 aunts Joseph Robertson, James Roberson Sr., Wallace Guidry, Julia Broussard and a special aunt and uncle Melvin & Geneva Charles; Goddaughter Monique Price; Special cousins Rodney Robertson, Stanley Robertson, Melvin Charles II and Charlene Charles, & her cherished mother in law Lorine Maxwell.
