Obituary for Mrs. Lydia Marie Guidry
Lydia Marie Guidry was born to the parents of Lydia Robertson Guidry and Joseph Raoul Guidry on October 24, 1962 in Houston, Texas. Lydia attended school in the Houston Independent School District.
Growing up she loved babysitting and braiding hair. She loved spending time, laughing and talking with family and friends. Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her 2 sons & 1 daughter, Carlton Guidry, Oneil Guidry and Showniece Guidry; 2 sisters, Jolene Guidry Bailey ( TanRichard) Antoinette Smith ( Sean), 6 grandchildren, Carlton Guidry Jr., Taniyah Walker, I’Rhyianna Guidry, Chanel Guidry, Caleb Guidry, Essiah Crecy; 2 uncles, 2 aunts and a special aunt & uncle Melvin & Geneva Charles; 3 nephews; August Bailey, Lynn Bailey, and Sean Smith II, 3 nieces; Tamika Guidry, Lydia Bailey and Essence Smith, 1 great niece, 7 great nephews, Special cousins, Rodney Robertson, Stanley Robertson, Monique Charles, Melvin Charles and Charlene Charles. 2 special mother figures Lorine Maxwell & Minnettie Smith and a host of relatives and friends
Marie is preceded in death by her mother and father, Lydia Robertson Guidry and Joseph Raoul Guidry. Paternal grandparents, Willie and Rose Guidry; Maternal Grandparents, August Robertson Jr. and Lorena Gabriel Robertson; 1 nephew, Richard Bailey II, 1 niece, Mykia Tyler.
